Box Score (Sheboygan, WI) - Lakeland College defeated Marian University 68-44 on Saturday afternoon in a Northern Athletics Conference contest. The Muskies forced the Sabres into 27 turnovers and held a 22-2 advantage in points off the bench in the contest to help aid in the victory. 

The Muskies jumped out to a 10-1 lead in the first four minutes of the game, but Marian didn't back down. They followed that with a 15-4 run over the next 4:17 to take a 16-14 lead. The Muskies responded with a large run of their own at the end of the first half to take a 32-21 lead at the break. 

In the second, the Sabres cut the deficit to 32-26 with 17:53 to play, but Lakeland went on a 24-7 run over the next ten minutes to take control of the game. 

Marian shot 17-for-55 (31%) from the field in the contest and connected on just 3 of 21 three-pointers. 

Emily Reiter (Hilbert, WI) led the Sabres with 12 points and 13 rebounds. Alexis Becker (North Fond du Lac, WI) and Jordan Dykstra (Cedar Grove, WI) finished with 11 and 10 points respectively. 

KC Blahnik led the Muskies with 16 points.
