(Ripon, WI) - Marian University dropped a tough, five-set decision to Ripon College on Tuesday evening. The Sabres won the second and fourth sets, but fell in the decisive fifth set, 15-12. Marian is now 3-5 on the year and will open up the conference season on Thursday against Edgewood College. 

Carlie Kinsey (Waukesha, WI) had a solid night for the Sabres as she recorded 11 kills, 4 service aces, and 9 digs. Michielah Navis (Waupun, WI) also played well for Marian, recording 33 assists, 5 total blocks, and 5 kills. 

Marian's home match against Edgewood College on Thursday, is set to begin at 7:00 PM.
