(Fond du Lac, WI) - Marian University dropped a five-set match on Thursday to Lawrence University. The Sabres won the first set 26-24, but lost the next two sets by the same 25-23 score. After a 25-20 win in the fourth set, the Sabres didn't have enough left, as they fell 15-5 in the fifth set. 

Marian (4-10) was led in kills by Kaitlin Jarvis (Bear Creek, WI) with 9. Carlie Kinsey (Waukesha, WI) added 8 kills, while Aileen Maier (Pardeeville, WI) recorded 7. 

Michielah Navis (Waupun, WI) led the Sabres in assists (34) and digs (21). Ashley Zumbrock (Chippewa Falls, WI), Erika Heberer (Kewaskum, WI), Katie Reimer (Fond du Lac, WI), and Kinsey all recorded double-digits in digs. 

Marian is back in action again on Saturday as they are at the MSOE Quadrangular.
