Box Score (Sheboygan, WI) - Marian University led by as many as ten points in the second half on Wednesday, but couldn't hang on, falling to Lakeland College 71-66 on the road. Marian is now 2-12 on the year and 0-6 in the Northern Athletics Conference. 

The Sabres led for all but :22 in the first half as they shot 17-for-34 (50%) from the field. Marian took a 39-36 lead into halftime as they took advantage in the paint. Marian out-scored Lakeland 22-6 down low. 

In the second, Marian pushed their lead to 50-40 with 15:31 to play, but Lakeland battled back and took a 56-54 lead with 7:28 to play. They pushed their lead to four points with 5:20 to play, but a three-point play by Marian's Donnahugh Brown (Negril, Jamaica) brought Marian to within 58-57 with 4:53 to play. 

That was as close as Marian would come as the Muskies then went on a 7-0 run over the next 2:46 to grab control. 

Marian finished 29-for-65 (44.6%) from the field and was led by Colin Lohenry (Algoma, WI). The senior scored a season-high 20 points on 9-of-12 shooting. Brown finished with 19 points, while Ben Hart (West Allis, WI) added 10 points. 

Cody Veleke (Oakfield, WI) led the team with 8 rebounds and 5 assists. 

Josh Regal led Lakeland (7-6, 3-3 NAC) with 17 points. He also had 6 steals.
