Box Score (Fond du Lac, WI) - The Sabres dug themselves an early hole on Wednesday evening at the Fond du Lac Blue Line Family Ice Center and fell 8-2. The Sabres gave up three goals in the first and four more in the second, before getting on the board for a pair of goals in the third. 

The Falcons out-shot Marian 44-23 in the contest and had three players record three points in Sarah Hubacher, Alisha Java, and Jaime Athens. 

Marian's two goals in the third period came from Sophie Schieldt (Stoughton, WI) and Kelan Schmitt (Beaver Dam, WI). Schieldt's goal came on the power play and it was her first collegiate goal. 

Kaytlin Ruzicka (Wauconda, IL) stopped 24 shots for Marian in two periods of play, while Melissa Calder (Fort Frances, ON) also stopped 12 shots in the third period.
