(Fond du Lac, WI) - Brendan Hull (Calgary, AB) had four points and
Dakota Dubetz (Chestermore, AB) added three points in Marian's 4-1 MCHA victory over Lake Forest College on Friday. The Sabres moved their winning streak to eight games. They now sit 13-5 overall and 10-3 in the MCHA.
After a scoreless first period, Hull put the Sabres on the board at the 5:30 mark of the second. His power play tally was assisted by
Nathan Brummitt (Calgary, AB) and
Tommy Fitzpatrick (Ft. McMurray, AB). A little less than five minutes later, Fitzpatrick made it 2-0 with the helpers going to Dubetz and Hull.
In the third, Dubetz scored both the goals, with Hull and
Brendan Roberts (Calgary, AB) getting assists on both goals.
Alex Bjerk (Roseau, MN) earned the win, recording 25 saves in the game.
Head Coach Jasen Wise reached a milestone with the victory. He became the first head coach in the men's hockey program to record his 100th victory.
These two teams will face each other again tomorrow at Lake Forest College.
