FOND DU LAC, Wis. (SabreAthletics.com) – The Marian University women's volleyball team took the first set against visiting Lake Forest College, but the Foresters roared back to win the final three sets en route to the four-set road victory (18-25, 25-15, 25-14, 25-21) at Sadoff Gymnasium, Wednesday, Oct. 12.

The Sabres tallied double-digit kills in the first set, led by Carlie Kinsey, who finished the match with a team-leading 10 kills for the hosts. Junior setter, Katie Reimer, totaled a team-high 26 assists while sophomore libero, Ashley Zumbrock, recorded 22 digs.

Marian falls to 6-20 on the season, while Lake Forest improves to 8-10 overall.

Marian closes out its regular season with five straight matches, continuing with a home date against Lakeland College next Tuesday, Oct. 18, at 7 p.m.
