FOND DU LAC, Wis. (SabreAthletics.com) – The Marian University men's soccer team fell in its season finale to the visiting Lakeland College Muskies, 4-0, as four different players recorded goals in a Northern Athletics Conference match at Smith Fields, today, Oct. 25.

Lakeland took a 3-0 lead into halftime after Jeremy Hardy started the scoring barrage with his 11th tally of the season in the 22nd minute. Danny Spatchek scored his first of the year in the 28th minute before Farouk Dadzie added his fourth in the 41st minute.

Lakeland improved to 8-7-3 overall, 5-4-2 in the NAC, while the Sabres fell to 5-12-1 (4-7 NAC).

The Muskies controlled the ball offensively, out-shooting the Sabres 24-6 with 11 of those shots landing on goal. Alex Piekarski of Lakeland made two saves in recording the shutout.

Bobby Rublee connected on the game's final goal in the 72nd minute on a penalty kick.

Six different Sabres recorded shots, while Luke Peltonen and Jacob Dorsey tallied the lone shots on goal for Marian.
