(Fond du Lac, WI) - Marian University shut-out Lawrence University 5-0 on Friday evening as seven seniors played their last home game. Marian broke open a 2-0 game in the third by netting three goals. Marian is now 16-6 overall and 13-4 in the MCHA. 

Marian out-shot Lawrence 59-32 in the game, including out-shooting the Vikings 30-4 in the second period. 

Matt Williams (Lacombe, AB) wasted no time putting Marian ahead 1-0 in the first as he scored just :54 in. Justin Cormier (Calgary, AB) and Dakota Dubetz (Chestermore, AB) assisted on the tally. 

In the second, Dubetz scored at the 13:08 mark off an assist from Nathan Brummitt (Calgary, AB) to make it 2-0. 

In the third, Lane Boswell (Calgary, AB), Brendan Hull (Calgary, AB), and Williams all tallied goals. 

Alex Bjerk (Roseau, MN) earned the victory stopping 24 shots. 

These two teams are back in action again tomorrow at 7:00 PM.
