Box Score 1 | Box Score 2 (Milwaukee, WI) - The Sabres got the weekend sweep on Sunday by defeating MSOE 7-1 and 7-3 at the MSOE Athletic Field. With the impressive weekend, Marian is now 7-12 overall and 6-4 in the Northern Athletics Conference.

In the opener, Marian out-hit MSOE 9-6 and got a stellar pitching peformance from Cherise Waltz. The junior scattered six hits and struck out eleven in the complete-game victory.

Jenna Whitehead led the offense by going 2-for-2 with a pair or runs and RBIs. Brooke Haen and Sam Braun also added a pair of hits, while Niki LaPlant drove in a pair.

Marian trailed 1-0 going into the fourth, but scored three in the fourth, two in the fifth and another two insurance runs in the seventh.

In the finale, Marian broke open a 1-0 lead with six runs in the fourth. The recorded six hits in the inning and batted around the order.

Emilie Jansen earned the complete-game victory by giving up just one earned run.

Marian out-hit the Raiders 11-6 and had several solid performances. Katilin Jarvis, Emily Boehnlein, Haen and Whitehead all recorded two hits. Boehnlein drove in three, while Whitehead recorded a pair of RBIs.
