FOND DU LAC, Wis. (SabreAthletics.com) – Two early goals by
Leisa Conn proved more than enough for the Marian University women's soccer team, which defeated Wisconsin Lutheran College, 2-0, in a homecoming matchup and Northern Athletics Conference affair at Smith Fields today, Sept. 17.
The freshman Conn overtook fellow freshman teammate
Laura Maly for the team lead with six goals. Maly got in on the act in her own way as she collaborated with

Marian improves its record to 4-3 overall, 2-1 in the NAC, while Wisconsin Lutheran falls to 0-6 (0-3 NAC).
Conn's second goal came in the 14th minute as she took a pass from
Taylor Hozeska and beat the keeper from five yards out to make the score, 2-0.
Marian will prepare for its next match, which will take place at Smith Fields against UW-Oshkosh on Tuesday, Sept. 20. The Sabres and Titans are slated to start at 7 p.m.
