The Sabres held a 5-3 lead to start the first set for the Redhawks rallied off 10 straight points to take command and wouldn't look back.
In the second set, Marian got off to another hot start, scoring the first four points thanks to two service aces by Baker and a Ripon attacking error. Another big Ripon run would highlight the final set after another early Marian lead was squashed. The Redhawks rallied off 12 straight points and 15-of-16 overall to cruise to the sweep.
The Sabres will have the next five days off before opening conference play on the road at Lakeland, Tuesday, Sept. 16.
