FOND DU LAC, Wis. - The Marian women's volleyball team (3-18, 1-4 NACC) fell in straight sets to Dominican University with set scores of 25-17, 25-16, 25-16.

The Stars shutdown the Sabre offense holding MU to a hitting percentage of -.104, while recording a hitting a percentage of .226 themselves.

Catelyn Brehm had five kills to lead the Marian offense with Katrina Jansen recording a team-high 10 digs.  Amber Baker assisted on all 16 Sabre kills to go with eight digs and three aces from the service line.

Marian looks to snap a three game skid heading to Concordia Wisconsin Tuesday, Oct. 13 for a 7 p.m. first serve.
