Box Score FOND DU LAC, Wis. – The Marian women's soccer team went into halftime tied 1-1 with Concordia Wisconsin, but the Falcons scored three goals in the final 16 minutes of regulation to notch a 4-1 victory Wednesday evening at Smith Field.
The Falcons (12-1-2, 8-0-0 NACC) scored at 13:53 in the first half to open up an early lead.
The Sabres retaliated eight minutes later when Alexis Peterson scored her third goal of the season and the match went into the break tied.
Carley Pfannerstill scored the game-winning goal at 74:38 and the Falcons added goals in the final eight minutes to close out the contest.
Marian (6-11-0, 2-6-0 NACC) returns to the pitch Saturday and play host to Benedictine. The program will honor its seniors.
