FOND DU LAC, Wis. – The Marian's men's soccer team led 1-0 at halftime but Benedictine scored three times in the second half to clip the Sabres 3-1 at Smith Field.

At 24:09 in the opening half Ramon Sutherland scored his first goal of the season and the Sabres went into the break with a 1-0 lead.

BU (8-8-0, 5-4-0 NACC) responded at 47:42 in the second half. Erik Stammer found space in the penalty box and scored to tie it at 1-1.

At 63:02 Alejandro Vences scored what proved to be the game-winning goal. The Eagles added a goal in the waning minutes to put the contest out of reach.

Eric Rodriguez and Jeroham Duran each added a shot on goal.

MU (11-5-1, 4-4-1 NACC) closes out its regular season Wednesday evening against Wisconsin Lutheran.
