FOND DU LAC, Wis. – Teffie Joyce scored at 12:06 in the first half to propel Wisconsin Lutheran past Marian 1-0 Wednesday evening in Northern Athletics Collegeite Conference action at Smith Field.

With the setback the Sabres finished seventh in the NACC standings and will not qualify for the conference tournament.

True freshman Ian Chacon was great between the pipes and finished with a match-high 13 saves.

Eric Rodriguez led the Sabres with two shots on goal.

Marian finished its season with an 11-6-1 overall record and a 4-5-1 conference mark.
