FOND DU LAC, Wis. –  Brittany Bauman scored a team-high 14 points on 6-of-12 shooting from the field, but Marian dropped a 61-46 decision versus Concordia Wisconsin Saturday afternoon in Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference action at Sadoff Gymnasium.  

Both teams traded baskets in the first quarter and the Falcons led 15-13. However, it was a second quarter lull that ultimately doomed the Sabres. CUW outscored MU 13-4 and entered halftime with a 28-17 advantage.

In the third quarter the Falcons outscored the Sabres 19-11 to put the game out of reach.

Jessica Roberts came off the bench to score 11 points on 5-of-7 shooting from the floor. Molly Kovarik helped out with nine points and Jordan Weidner scored seven points.

Madelyn Landgraf scored a game-high 22 points to lead CUW (3-0, 2-0 NACC).

Marian (2-2, 0-1 NACC) returns to action Wednesday versus Dominican.
