AURORA, Ill. - The Marian softball team was tripped up in both games of a Northern Athletic Collegiate Conference double-header against the Aurora Spartans. The Sabres were upset 8-0 in game one and 14-4 in game two.
Offensive production picked up early for the Sabres in their second crack at the Spartans.

The Spartans scored three runs in the bottom of the first, and four in the bottom of the second, to erase the Sabre lead.
