MILWAUKEE, Wis. – MSOE scored three goals in the opening 20 minutes to sink Marian 3-1 Wednesday evening in Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference play at Viets Field.

At 61:47 Israel Tovar scored his second goal of the season to put the Sabres on board.

Goalkeeper Ian Chacon was stellar and made a match-high 11 saves.

MSOE (8-2-0, 3-0-0 NACC) outshot Marian 23-6 – including a 15-3 margin in the first half.

The Sabres (7-2-1, 1-1-1 NACC) return to the pitch Friday, Oct. 3 at Dominican.
