FOND DU LAC, Wis. – Junior Nicole Paulus scored a team-high 13 points but Aurora rallied in the fourth quarter and topped Marian 57-39 Saturday afternoon in Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference action played at Sadoff Gymnasium.

Paulus got the Sabres started in the first quarter and scored five points and the Blue and White led 11-8 after 10 minutes of play.

AU (9-8, 8-4 NACC) outscored the Sabres 10-6 in the second quarter and went into the break with an 18-17 lead.

The third quarter saw both teams find their offensive groove. Brandi Bender and Paulus each scored five points and the Sabres trailed 34-32 after three quarters of play.

The AU offense came to life in the fourth quarter and outscored MU 23-7.

MU found success in the paint and outscored AU by an 18-14 margin.

The Sabres (5-12, 3-9 NACC) return to the hardwood Wednesday versus. Lakeland.
