LISLE, Ill. – Muhammed Abshir netted his fifth goal of the season, but Benedictine used a big second half and cruised to a 4-1 victory over the Marian University men's soccer team Saturday evening in Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference play.

BU (12-4-1, 8-1-0) scored at 56:21 in the second half, but Abshir scored just 40 seconds later to tie the contest.

The Eagles responded and scored three unanswered goals and closed out the game.

BU outshot the Sabres 19-7, including 10-3 in the second half. Gustavo Carmona and Grant Meerdink each recorded two shots on goal.

The Sabres complete the regular season Wednesday at Wisconsin Lutheran.
