MIlWAUKEE, Wis. – Muhammed Abshir scored the go-ahead goal at 85:12 in the second half and the Marian University men's soccer team defeated Wisconsin Lutheran 1-0 Thursday evening.

There were plenty of scoring opportunities for both teams. The Sabres outshot the Warriors 8-7-4, 4-4-2 NACC) 18-15, including a 12-7 margin in the second half.

Abshir also totaled a game-high seven shot attempts. Alonso Fragoso totaled five shot attempts and Jose Luis Alvarado added two shots.

The Sabres end their season with a 6-9-1 overall record and 4-5-1 NACC mark. The Blue and White finished one game out of the sixth and final spot in the NACC tournament.
