FOND DU LAC, Wis. – Jessica Roberts scored a team-high 17 points and hauled in eight rebounds but Alverno outlasted Marian 79-74 in overtime Saturday afternoon at Sadoff Gymnasium.

There were a total of 11 lead changes and seven ties. At 2:47 in overtime Brittany Bauman converted a layup to knot it at 69-69. However, that's the closest the Sabres would come as the Inferno finished the overtime period on a 10-5 run.

MU had one of its best shooting nights of the season. As a team the Sabres hit 45.6 percent (26-of-57) of their shots from the field, including knocking down 10 trey balls.

AC turned the ball over 15 times and the Sabres made the best of the miscues and turned them into 15 points.

Nicole Paulus scored 15 points and Bauman helped out with 11.

Mollie Mikyska scored 19 points to lead AC (14-11, 11-9 NACC).

MU closes out its season with a 6-19 overall record and 4-16 mark in NACC play.
