FOND DU LAC, Wis. - Marian women's hockey (7-16-2, 4-12-2 NCHA) once again came from behind to force a 1-1 tie agaisnt St. Norbert in the season finale.

The Green Knights were able to outshoot Marian 10-6 in an opening period that saw no goals, but SNC was able to cash in to open the scoring at the 13:43 mark of the second period.  St. Norbert held a 15-7 shots advantage after the second period, but the Sabres came out ready to play in the third period.

Needing a goal, MU turned up the offensive pressure and had several opportunities.  The Sabres finally lit the lamp at the 11:08 mark when Emily Everson lit the lamp with an assist from Ellie Deans.  Everson was turned away on her first attempt but took her own rebound to knot the game at 1-1 with her third goal of the year.

The Sabres would have a power play opportunity in the overtime period but neither team was able to score bringing the final to a 1-1 tie.

Ali Glazer made 31 saves in her final collegiate game, while Stephanie Kaye and Kelly Leslie also wore the Marian sweater for the final time in their respective careers.  Jessie Meluch had a team-high four shots.
