The Sabres added a run in the third inning and a pair in the fifth and the game was called due to the five-inning mercy rule.

"This was a good way to end the week," Draves said. "We started the week on the wrong foot, but in the past seven games we really turned it around. Hopefully we can use this as a positive step forward as we prepare for a home series against Ripon and our grueling conference schedule."
Gorges finished the game 2-for-3 with four RBIs and three runs scored.
D'Oronzo, LaBeck and Terrian each added two RBIs.
Junior Shannon Huray earned the win for the Sabres. She tossed four innings and allowed four hits, two runs and walked none and fanned one.
