LAKE FOREST, Ill. – The Marian University women's soccer team struggled to find its groove and suffered a 3-0 setback at Concordia Chicago Sunday afternoon.

CUC (4-2-1, 1-0 NACC) scored two first half goals and held off the Sabres in the second half.

Freshman Kailtyn Paetzke and sophomore Alexis Peterson each recorded shots on goal.

The Cougars outshot the Sabres 18-3, including a 10-1 margin in the first half.

MU (2-4, 0-1 NACC) return to the pitch Wednesday at 7 p.m. and play host to MSOE.
