FOND DU LAC, Wis. – After winning the first two sets, Wisconsin Lutheran rallied and captured the final three sets to stun the Marian University women's tennis team 21-25, 19-25, 25-18, 25-22, 15-10 Friday evening in Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference action Sadoff Gymnasium.

The Sabres (4-13, 2-2 NACC) performed best in the second set. As a team the MU hit .286 and committed only four errors. For the match the Blue and White hit. 180.

Katy Funkhouser played well and tallied a team-high 15 kills, while Hannah Buntrock andAlexandra Meidl played great in the middle and contributed 10 kills apiece.

Amber Baker helped out with 26 assists and eight digs and Amber Yahr contributed 20 assists to go along with four kills and two digs.

Britley Grulke led WLC (9-10, 1-3 NACC) with a game-high 21 kills.

MU returns to the court Saturday and play host to Maranatha Baptist at 1 p.m.
