Box Score WAUKESHA, Wis. - Marian University women's volleyball (9-14, 4-7 NACC) fell in straight sets to Carroll in their final non-conference match of the season with set scores of 25-19, 25-11, and 25-18.
The Sabre defense struggled to slow down Carroll as the Pioneers finished with a hitting percentage of .290 in the match. Marian had their best offensive set of the match in the second where they had nine kills and hit .111 in the set.
Senior Alexandra Meidl once again had a strong match and nearly recorded a double-double. Meidl finished with a match-high 10 kills to go with a .231 hitting percentage, nine digs, and two service aces. Junior Jenna Skroski also added in five kills and recorded a team-high 10 digs. At the net, freshman Hannah Walther had three solo blocks.
Marian closes out the season hosting Edgewood Wednesday, Oct. 24 at 7 p.m. from Sadoff Gym.
