Box Score LISLE, Ill. - Marian University women's volleyball (6-7, 2-2 NACC) opened the week falling to Benedictine on the road with set scores of 25-21, 25-10, and 25-22.
The offense had a tough time getting started and hit -.032 for the match. Senior Alexandra Meidl and junior Sara Komosa each had five kills to pace the offense. From the back row, junior Andrea Kubicek had a team-high eight digs, while fellow junior Jenna Skroski added seven.
At the net, the Sabres did have a good match recording 5.0 blocks with Komosa and sophomore Jenna Moehn each recording three assisted blocks. Junior Kaitlyn Kelley also had a pair of assisted blocks.
Marian travels to Aurora Thursday, Sept. 27 for a 7 p.m. match in NACC action.
