Box Score FOND DU LAC - Marian University men's volleyball (0-5, 0-0 NACC) played a ranked opponent for the fourth time already this season falling to No. 3 Carthage in straight sets.
The Red Men defeated the Sabres with set scores of 25-16, 25-18, and 25-14. The Sabre offense had their best set come in the second when they hit .111 with 13 kills. The Sabre defense, however, had a tough time slowing down Carthage who hit .313 for the match.
Senior Jon Smallpage led the offense with a team-high six kills, while junior Jacob DeGroot hit .333 with four kills to go with two solo blocks and an assisted block. From the back row, senior Cullen Liberski had a match-high 10 digs.
