Offensive woes continue as Sabre women's hockey swept by No. 10 Adrian

FOND DU LAC - Marian University women's hockey (0-4-0, 0-2-0-0 NCHA) is still in search of their first goal after falling to No. 10 Adrian 4-0.

The Bulldogs were able to score in each period with two of their tallies, one on the power play, coming in the opening stanza.  Adrian then scored a power-play goal in the second and closed out the scoring with just one goal in the final period.

Marian finished with a season-high 26 shots in the defeat led by junior Kristen Bisschop who had four shots on goal.  Sophomore Kayla Kolpitcke (0-4-0) made 44 saves in goal for the Sabres and has posted at least 41 saves in all four games this season.

Marian remains at home to open their series with CUW Friday, Nov. 19 at 7 p.m. in NCHA action.
