Box Score LISLE, Ill. - Marian University women's basketball (2-6, 0-2 NACC) suffered an 89-51 defeat at Benedictine in their first road conference game of the season.
Benedictine was able to take command of the game early and outscored the Sabres by double-digits in the first three quarters. Marian was able to build momentum in the final quarter of action outscoring the Eagles 16-10. The Sabres made seven field goals in the quarter and forced six Benedictine turnovers.
Senior Paris Harris scored a team-high 18 points and was one of three Sabres to grab five rebounds.
Marian returns home to take on St. Norbert Tuesday, Dec. 7 for a 7 p.m. tip in NACC action.
