MEQUON, Wis. - Marian University women's volleyball (2-6, 2-6 NACC) fell in a pair of matches against CUW to close out NACC play.

The Falcons were able to take the opening pair of sets in the first match of the day behind strong offensive performances.  The Sabres rallied in the third set hitting .265 in what was a close set.  Marian was able to hold a 23-19 advantage in the set before Concordia Wisconsin scored six unanswered points to complete a sweep.

The Sabres had five different players record at least five kills led by sophomore Caelan Tourdot who had eight kills.  From the back row, junior Brooklyn Taylor recorded a match-high 13 digs.

The second match of the day saw the Falcons take the first set easily before Marian bounced back in set two.  Marian opened the second set with a 14-7 lead but CUW would score nine straight to go ahead 16-14.  This tight lead led to CUW having a set-point opportunity at 24-23 but Marian was able to take three straight points to take the set 26-24.

Concordia Wisconsin was able to quickly bounce back, however, defeating Marian 25-17 and 25-15 in the next two sets to earn the win.
