DE PERE, Wis. - Marian University women's hockey (6-11-2, 3-4-0-3 NCHA) was defeated by St. Norbert 4-0 to close out an NCHA series.

Neither team was able to find the back of the net in the opening period.  St. Norbert would strike first with a power-play tally in the second period to take a 1-0 advantage into the final period.  The Green Knights needed just 1:52 of action in the third period to extend their lead to 2-0 before scoring a pair of empty-net goals to set the final at 4-0.

Sophomore Kayla Kolpitcke (6-11-2) made 36 saves between the pipes for the Sabres.

Marian hits the road for Aurora Friday, Feb. 4 to open a series with the Spartans at 3 p.m.
