MADISON, Wis. - Marian University women's soccer (7-7-4, 5-4-3 NACC) tied Edgewood 1-1 to close out the season.
The Sabres were able to get out to a strong start scoring just 13:08 into the match. Sophomore
Abby Larson was able to score her second goal of the season to put Marian ahead with an assist to senior
Ashley Welk. This lead held into halftime before Edgewood scored at the 69:42 mark to tie the game. This score would hold until the final horn as Marian finished with a winning NACC record for a second consecutive year.
Edgewood held a 16-10 edge in shots for the game with Larson recording a game-high four shots. Seniors
Amy Birner and
Kylie Lange each recorded a save in goal for Marian.
