Sabre women's hockey drops CUW opener

MEQUON, Wis. - A big third period lifted Concordia Wisconsin past Marian University women's hockey (0-4-1, 0-2-0-1 NCHA) 7-2.

How It Happened Graphic
  •  Concordia Wisconsin was able to take control early scoring the only two goals of the first period and the opening goal of the second.
  • Marian was able to cut into the lead when senior Kristen Bisschop scored with an assist to senior Melodee Eastman at the 9:11 mark of the second period.  This put the score at 3-1 after two periods.
  • The Falcons pulled away scoring three goals to open the third period.
  • Senior Brooke Anderson was able to score at the 16:32 mark with an assist to freshman Logan Crawford.
