Both teams were just as good from beyond the arc with the Sabres shooting 5-of-10 (.500) and NPU 4-of-6 (.667). North Park led for the entire game and held a 23-20 advantage with 8:27 left until half before going on a 10-2 run to build an 11-point lead.The Sabres chipped that lead down to as little as two but trailed 43-37 at halftime.The Vikings continued to shoot the lights out in the second half shooting 17-of-34 (.500) from the field in the final 20 minutes.Marian was able to stay in the game trailing just 55-52 with 12:40 left to play but couldn't get any closer.North Park would use a 12-1 run to go ahead by 14 with 8:07 left and cruised to the win from there. This was the first game this season Marian trailed at halftime.North Park outscored Marian 50-20 in the paint and 20-0 in fastbreak points.The Vikings finished the game 36-of-70 (.514) from the field and 7-of-12 (.583) from beyond the arc. Senior David Britton led the Sabres with 15 points. Senior Tyler Gouin filled the stat sheet with 12 points, six rebounds, five assists, and a block.
