FOND DU LAC - Marian University NCAA men's hockey (3-4-0, 1-2-1-0 NCHA) rallied late but fell to UW-Superior 3-1.

• It was another slow start for the Sabres as UW-Superior was able to record the first five shots of the game scoring on a power play just 1:54 in.
• Marian rallied and tied the Yellow Jackets for shots in the first period at 12-12.  
• The Sabres controlled play for most of the second period but the Yellow Jackets were able to take a 2-0 lead with a  goal at the 4:38 mark.
• Marian outshot UW-Superior 15-8 in the final period and opened the scoring when sophomore Jordan Simoneau scored his third goal of the season.  Senior Jack Sampson and sophomore Nick Cherkowski each assisted the goal that made the score 2-1.
• A late power-play goal from UWS with 3:36 to play set the final at 3-1.

• The Sabres finished with a 40-35 advantage in shots for the game.
• The UWS power-play unit finished the game 2-for-5.
