MILWAUKEE - Junior Kaitlyn Merrill of Marian University women's volleyball has been named All-NACC Honorable Mention, as released by the league.
Merrill (Livonia, Mich.) led the Sabre offense all season long and earns her first all-conference selection. She averaged 2.95 kills per set with 327 total kills and had 373.0 total points over 111 sets. From the service line, Merrill ranked second on the team with 30 service aces. Merrill had 15 matches where she recorded double-digit kills with a career-best 26 kills coming against Governors State. She also had four double-doubles with one of them coming against Governors State. Her season-best for digs came twice this season with 15. At the net, Merrill finished the season with 27 total blocks with five of her blocks being of the solo variety.
