RIVER FOREST, Ill. - Marian University women's basketball (2-6, 1-3 NACC) fell to Concordia Chicago 76-62 in the final road game of the first half.

• Marian was able to jump out to an 8-6 lead in the first quarter only to have CUC use a 13-2 run in the final 2:41 of the quarter to hold a 19-10 edge at the first break.
• The second quarter was all Cougars as CUC outscored Marian 25-9 to take a 44-19 lead into half.
• Marian bounced back in the second half outscoring Concordia Chicago in both of the final quarters.
• The Sabres were able to score 21 points in the third quarter and 22 in the fourth quarter.
• Marian was able to trim the deficit down to 76-62 but couldn't undo a tough second quarter.

• Marian shot 11-of-26 (.423) in the second half and finished with a 31.7-percent field-goal percentage for the game.
• Concordia Chicago outscored Marian 24-11 in points off turnovers and won the turnover battle 18-9.
• The Sabres went 22-of-29 (.759) from the charity stripe.
