Aden Jerome of Marian University men's soccer has been selected as the NACC Defensive Player of the Week, as voted on by the athletic communication professionals of the league.
Jerome (Barron, Wis.)
had a busy week in net leading Marian to four points. Jerome allowed just one goal against SNC in a 1-1 tie making seven saves. He then led the Sabres to a 2-1 win over Benedictine making six saves, the first victory over the Eagles since 2010. Jerome had an .867 save percentage to go with his 13 total saves on the week. On the season, Jerome ranks third in the NACC with 29 saves and is second in the conference with a 4.83 saves per game average.

Marian returns home to take on MSOE Wednesday Sept. 28 for a 7 p.m. kick-off in NACC action.
