FOND DU LAC - Junior Aaron Velasco of Marian University men's volleyball has been selected as the NACC Defensive Player of the Week.

Velasco (Honolulu, Hawai'i) paced the Marian back row averaging 3.30 digs per set over the first five matches of the season. He had double-digit digs in four of the five matches with 24 coming against a Stevenson team that was receiving votes in the national poll. Velasco also had a 14-dig, 11-kill double-double in three sets against Baldwin Wallace.
