FOND DU LAC - Marian University men's basketball (6-6, 4-2 NACC) took the lead after trailing by as much as 11 but a late MSOE push lifted the Raiders past the Sabres 78-68.Â

• The Raiders never trailed in the first half and after leading 24-20 scored seven unanswered to take a 31-20 lead with 5:07 until the half.
• Marian cut the deficit down to as little as four but MSOE was able to take a 38-32 lead into the break.
• The Sabres came out fast in the second half cutting the Raider lead down to three.Â
• Marian was able to stay within striking distance and a quick 9-1 run saw Marian take its first lead at 52-49 and force an MSOE timeout.
• The timeout was a momentum shifter as the Raiders came out of the stoppage on a 20-7 run to take a 10-point lead.
• The Sabres answered cutting their deficit down to as little as four but MSOE was able to hold on for an 78-68 win.

• The Sabres went 26-of-55 (.473) from the field and just 9-of-25 (.360) from beyond the arc, while MSOE was 31-of-59 (.525) from the field and 7-of-21 (.333) from three-point range.
• The Raiders were 5-of-12 (.417) from three in the first half and outscored Marian 44-28 in the paint. MSOE also held a 13-0 edge in second chance points.
