Colby Muise has been selected as the NCHA Defensive Player of the Week for the fourth time this season and third time in the month of January.
Muise (Yarmouth, N.S.) had another big weekend leading Marian to four points against No. 5 Aurora.
Muise made 31 saves in an overtime loss in the opener of the series. He then held the Spartans to just one goal making 32 saves in a regulation victory.
Muise closed out the weekend with a 2.95 goals-against average to go with a .913 save percentage. Aurora entered the series as the sixth-best scoring offense in the nation averaging 4.26 goals per game.
