MILWAUKEE - Freshman Yinan Lu of Marian University women's golf has been named the NACC Player of the Week for the third time this season.

Lu (Qindao, China) sits atop the individual leaderboard by four strokes after the opening rounds of the NACC Championship.  Lu was the only student-athlete to break 80 in both rounds at Aldeen Golf Course in Rockford, Ill. She set the program record fo ra low round to open the NACC Championship with a three-over-par 75.  She then finished with a 78 in the second round.  She had a birdie in each round while leading Marian to second place in the team standings after 36 of 72 holes.

Marian women's golf concludes the NACC Championship from Washington County Golf Course Oct. 7-8.
