KANSASVILLE, Wis. - Marian University women's golf carded rounds of 331 and 320 to tie for sixth at the Midwest Region Classic.

 

• Yinan Lu had rounds of 79 and 75 to anchor the Sabres and finish in a tie for ninth. 
• Lu had five birdies between the two rounds.
• Allison Cink tied for 38th for the weekend after rounds of 86 and 79.
• Her second round saw her post a pair of birdies.
• Olivia Schueller had a pair of consistent rounds posting an 86 and an 85, while Jessy Merrell tied with her after rounds of 90 and 81.
• Katelyn Bucciarelli had a strong opening round posting an 80 to round out the Sabre scoring.
• Competing as an individual was Trinity Knudtson who tied for 62nd after rounds of 81 and 89.
• Aurora won the event with a team score of 599 led by Thanpimol Tharpanawongwech who went one-under par to earn medalist honors.
• Marian finished second against other NACC schools in the field.
