FOND DU LAC - Marian University women's ice hockey (6-14-1, 2-9-0-1 NCHA) suffered a sweep against Aurora falling 5-0 in the series finale.

   

• The Spartans got out to a fast start scoring three goals in the first 12:43 of the game with one being on a power play.
• Marian outshot Aurora in the second period but the Spartans scored once to extend its lead
• Aurora then scored one final goal in the third period to set the final at 5-0.

   

• Marian was outshot 38-22 for the game but outshot Aurora 11-6 in the second period.
• The Marian power play was scoreless on four chances, while Aurora had one power-play goal on two chances.
• The Sabres had 33 faceoff wins to only 27 for Aurora, or 55.0 percent.

   

Junior Hannah Cunha was one of two Sabres to record three shots on goal.	Junior Kayla Kolpitcke made 23 saves with 16 of her stops coming in the third period in a relief appearance.	Sophomore Sydney Schipper went 14-for-21 (.667) in the faceoff circle.
