History

FOND DU LAC - Marian University men's volleyball (12-8, 5-3 NACC) easily took care of Lakeland at home in a 25-15, 25-17, and 25-8 swep.

Marian jumped out early on the Muskies in the opening set with a 13-5 lead.
The Sabres were able to lead by as much as 12 at 22-10 before taking the opener.
The second set was tied at 6-6 to open before Marian was able to go on a 6-2 run to go ahead 12-8.
Marian maintained a 14-11 lead before the Sabres used a 9-1 run to pull ahead 23-12.
Using that momentum, the Sabres dominated throughout the third set opening with a 12-2 advantage.
The Sabres also closed out the set with a 13-5 spurt.

The Marian offense could not be slowed down recording double-digit kills in all three sets and hitting .500 for the match.
The Sabres had 16 kills in the first two sets each and finished with a 42-21 edge.
The Marian back row also had a 31-18 advantage in digs.
Marian is now on a four-match win streak against Lakeland with all four wins being sweeps.


Senior Cam Muller hit .579 for the match with 13 kills.	Junior Aaron Velasco had 11 kills to go with six digs and hit .409 for the match.	Senior Carzell Combs posted a match-high 10 digs in the back row.
