MILWAUKEE - Freshman Yinan Lu of Marian University women's golf has been named the NACC Golfer of the Week, as voted on by the athletic communicators of the league.

Lu (Qindao, China) continued the strong start to her collegiate career.  Lu opened the week earning medalist honors at the Clarke Fall Invite after setting a school record round of 78.  She then took third at the Marian Invite after rounds of 84 and 83.  Lu helped lead the Sabres to a win at the Clarke Invite and a second-place finish at the Marian Invite, the best finish for MU at its home invite since 2014.  Through the first five rounds of her collegiate career, Lu is averaging 82.8 strokes per round with two finishes inside the top three.
