CHICAGO - Marian University women's soccer (2-2-2, 1-1-0 NACC) held IIT scoreless in the opening half but fell at the Scarlet Hawks 2-0.

- Illinois Tech controlled the pace for most of the first half but the Sabres were able to keep the Scarlet Hawks off the board.
- Marian was also able to create opportunities but settled for a scoreless halftime score.
- The Scarlet Hawks then broke the scoreless tie in the 58th minute.
- Illinois Tech was able to ice the game with just 2:37 left to play with a penalty-kick goal.
